It has also come to my attention, while
visiting a friend, that some of these pictures looked really terrible
on his screen. This was because of a poorly adjusted monitor. All pictures
you see at this site have been optimized for viewing on a "standard" Gamma=1.8
to 2.2 monitor. If the inner and outer bands of each color in the following
test pattern do not appear at approximately equal brightness, you may want
to adjust your monitor's brightness and/or contrast controls until they
do.
